Organic Art Lake Worth Style. . .

arta4It seems like art is springing up all around Lake Worth.  A couple of weeks ago the new art cooperative on Lake Ave. opened, and just this weekend two other shows opened. While I did not have a chance to see the one in the old theater building, a showcase of Dreyfoos School of the Arts student’s work,  I did attend one a block from downtown on J street, in a residential front yard.  This “one night only” art happening, titled Open Air Exposition, drew me  in as I walked among art hanging from the trees, sproutinging from the ground and nestled into the foliage.

A varied crowd from children to grandparents enjoyed the evening air as the art was blowing in the breeze.

The Treasure Coast Regional Planning Counsel recently advised the city that art districts must grow organically.

It appears that the seeds have already been planted by our own residents!
