Don’t Look Behind You. . .

We all agree our beach is beautiful. However the beach property is not so beautiful. Those who decry the Singer plan say “people just come to use the beach”, well then they must never turn their heads when they are on the sand. The harsh “cementscape” of the seawall, road and parking lot stands in contrast to the natural dunes and verdant vegetation to the north and south.

The wall is in place to support the broad road that runs in front of the Casino. There is no need for such a wide road or relinquishing the best parts of the beach property to parking. DLBY3Some people claim that convenient parking is what the people want and equate the walk from the lower parking to crossing the Serengeti and climbing the Himalayan mountains. After spending the last two evenings at Kruesler Park and seeing many people using the inviting shady, grassy area as well as having a back drop of natural dunescape, I am further convinced that the Singer plan will add great appeal to our beach property. DLBY2

I would suggest that those who claim the layout of our beach property is fine the way it is actually take a look around instead of staring in only one direction.
