Laundry Day

Lisa Maxwell has posted what happened at the Tropical Ridge Neighborhood Association on her campaign page at Facebook (click here to read).

Here is an excerpt:

Tropical Ridge residents feel the effects of neglect!

Yesterday, I walked through the Tropical Ridge Neighborhood with several devoted residents who are diligent about fighting the blight and crime they experience on a daily basis. I had intended to hold a kickoff and announcement after a Neighborhood Association Crime Walk at the home of one of the residents, however, due to personal reasons, they needed to postpone this event. None the less, I felt my attending the walk itself would help me better understand the sentiments and concerns that I have been hearing from residents in this area of our town. Much ado by my opponents was made by my attendance at the walk and its implication as a political event which runs contrary to recently adopted by laws of the Tropical Ridge Neighborhood Association. As I got into the walk, I understood the reason that such a fuss was made – clearly this neighborhood needs a sea change in terms of governmental representation.

Maxwell’s May 4th press release (click here to view entire release) clearly states she intended to make her announcement at the TRNA walk and at Compass.  Not after the event at some other location as she now claims.

The fuss was made about the appropriateness of making the announcement  at a neighborhood association event, not Lisa Maxwell going on the walk. Nothing more, nothing less.

It looks like Candidate Maxwell is making good use of the spin cycle.

Yep.. that is the biggest bunch of bullshit that I have ever read. Lisa Maxwell… you are going to have to get a little bit better at covering your ass than that.

  2. sadie Says:

I don’t believe you can call her comments spin. She spoke the truth about the conditions in that neighborhood and has solid solutions to improve the area. What has Cara or Suzanne done to stabilize the area? NOTHING.

    • film critic Says:

This is not about stabilizing the area it is about lying in a very blatant manner.

Who cares? You’re making something out of nothing! I know she’ll do a better job than Mulvehill in stablizing the neighborhoods. She’s smarter, more professional, and more experienced than Mulvehill.

  4. film critic Says:

Who cares? Well that about says it all. You have identified that lying is not a problem for you and honestly is not a value for you. Thanks for that Sadie, you have told us who you are.

  5. Sunny Says:

She did not tell one lie in her facebook message. She spoke the truth and that is good enough for me. We need to clean up the neighborhoods and she is the person for the job!
