Scott looked rather dejected on the dais last evening but still was gracious towards new mayor, Rachel Waterman. He swears that there will be chickens in the city by year end. He and I keep saying “over our dead bodies.”

There already are chickens in the city. Get over it.

anderson than you must be dead already or blind. There are already chickens running loose in Lake Worth.

Well, perhaps there are but it is against the law, Dennis A. What do you think about that? Huh? We just do not want an Ordinance legally allowing them. And Dennis, I am not close to dying so get over it. Just don’t build your coop quite yet.

I must say that I am very annoyed with the chickens in our area. It is against the law and makes Lake Worth look trashy…I am totally for organic food and organic growing but this is simply crossing the line. BTW the last time I saw Lynn she looked as youthful and vibrant as always.

Lynn obviously your age is a touchy subject to you but one that I did not refer to in my first comment. I quoted your statment “there will be chickens in the city of your dead body” and fact is that whether illegal or not we still have them. What a naive concept to think having an ordinance prohibiting them will do any good since we don’t have enough code enforcement officers to cite people who would violate the ordinance. Austin you should run for office you are a natural.
