Back To The Future

Tom’s Page posted this back on April 1st 201o.  It was intended as an April Fool’s Day prank, and several residents “got it” and a few others were mad, sad or just upset with Tom’s Page. 

Tom’s Page heard from reliable sources today that the CRA is in negotiations with Wal-Mart to bring a “Super Center” to 1200 North Dixie Hwy (the former site of the closed pain clinic).   Wal-Mart has designed the 60,ooo square foot store as part of their “inner city initiative”.  CRA Executive Director Joan Oliva said, “With Publix and now Wal-Mart we are turning Dixie Highway around”.  Oliva declined further comment citing ongoing negotiations with Wal-Mart.

Fast forward to today.

Well,  as it turns out Wal Mart is moving just across the canal on Dixie in West Palm Beach.  Click here to read more.

P.S. They should have listened to Tom’s Page and put it in Lake Worth.
